JANUS: A framework for LLM-assisted qualitative analysis and writing
Feged-Rivadeneira, A. (2025). The analytic and publication protocol that every Capybara situation report follows — claim-to-source traceability, mandatory adversarial pass, external triangulation as evidence, AI-assistance disclosure. Designed for hybrid human-LLM workflows in high-stakes qualitative analysis.

Capybara's main current output is JANUS-format situation reports on active climate and environmental risk — wildfire, flood, heatwave, and combined-hazard analyses for specific regions. Each report carries the analyst's name, traces every claim to a dataset or source, and includes an adversarial pass against alternative explanations. Recent coverage includes Western Europe (Italy / Portugal / France / Spain), Nuevo León, Antioquia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Colombia.
